Data Protection and Privacy Information

Our Privacy Policy

We use your personal data (hereinafter often referred to as "data") only when necessary to provide a functioning and user-friendly website with its content and services.

According to Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), any action related to personal data is considered "processing". This includes collecting, recording, organizing, storing, adapting, modifying, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing by transmission, disseminating or otherwise making available, aligning or combining, restricting, deleting or destroying, whether automated or not.

In the following privacy policy, we want to inform you specifically about the type, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of your personal data. This applies both to cases where we alone decide on the purposes and means of processing, and to cases where we decide together with others. We also provide information about external components that we use to optimize and improve the quality of use. In these cases, third parties process the data independently.

I. Information about us as data controllers

The responsible provider of this website in terms of data protection law is:

II. Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right:

  • to receive confirmation as to whether their data is being processed, to receive information about the processed data, to receive further information about data processing and to request copies of the data (see also Article 15 GDPR);
  • to have incorrect or incomplete data corrected or completed (see also Article 16 GDPR);
  • to demand the immediate deletion of their data (see also Article 17 GDPR) or, alternatively, if further processing is required according to Article 17 paragraph 3 GDPR, to demand the restriction of processing in accordance with Article 18 GDPR;
  • to receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to have this data transmitted to other providers/controllers (see also Article 20 GDPR);
  • to complain to the supervisory authority if they believe that their data is being processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations (see also Article 77 GDPR).

Users and data subjects also have the right under Article 21 GDPR to object to the future processing of their data, particularly if the data is processed by the provider according to Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f) GDPR. An objection to data processing for the purpose of direct marketing is also permissible.

III. Information on data processing

Server Data

For technical reasons, particularly to ensure a secure and stable online presence, data is transmitted to us or to our web space provider by your internet browser. This data is recorded in so-called server log files, including the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the pages of our website visited, the date and time of each access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is used.

The collected data is temporarily stored but not together with other data about you. This storage is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving, stabilizing, functionality and security of our online presence. The data is deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless further retention is required for evidence purposes.

Cookies

We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are stored on your device by your internet browser. These cookies process certain information from you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address, to an individual extent.

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure, as it enables, for example, the display of our website in different languages or the provision of a shopping cart function. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies process data for contract initiation or processing.

Contact Inquiries

When you contact us via the contact form or email, we use the data you provide to process your inquiry. The provision of this data is necessary to process and answer your inquiry. Without providing this data, we may not be able to answer your inquiry or only to a limited extent. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted as soon as your inquiry has been conclusively answered and there are no legal retention obligations preventing deletion, for example in the case of any subsequent contract processing.

Contract Processing

The data you transmit for the use of our goods and/or service offer is processed by us for contract processing and is therefore required. Without providing your data, neither the conclusion nor the processing of the contract is possible. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b) GDPR.

The data is deleted after complete processing of the contract, whereby tax and commercial law retention periods must be observed.
